Refund policy
If Tala Plus isn’t right for your family, you can get your money back. Here is exactly how it works.
Last updated 3 November 2026
14 days, no questions asked
You can get a full refund within 14 days of any Tala Plus payment. That covers:
- the first payment of Tala Plus monthly ($4.99 a month),
- each monthly renewal, and
- a Tala Plus yearly purchase ($39.99 once for a year).
You don’t need to give a reason, and there are no fees.
How to ask for a refund
- Email help@tala.kids from the email address on your account, and tell us roughly when you paid.
- Or use the link in your payment receipt, or look up your order at paddle.net.
- We aim to reply within 2 business days. Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
After 14 days
- Monthly: you can cancel any time from the billing page in your parent area. You keep Plus until the end of the month you paid for, and you won’t be charged again. We don’t refund part of a month.
- Yearly: the yearly plan never renews on its own, so there is nothing to cancel. After 14 days it isn’t refundable, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
- If we ever shut Tala down, we will give you notice and refund the unused part of a yearly plan.
What happens after a refund
Plus ends when the refund is made and your family moves to the free plan. Your children’s progress, badges and Dream Paths stay, so nothing is lost if you come back later.
Who handles payments
Our orders are processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle issues refunds and handles order questions, and Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under consumer law.
